Happiness is not just a reaction of a moment, but permanent attitude in all situations. We should strive for happiness. It was how students summarized at the end of activity,” I am Happy” organized by Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Technology in which a movie show was organized followed by open house discussion here today. During the activity , the club members viewed and discussed their learning from the Hollywood flick “Pursuit of Happyness”. The movie has some major lessons of life embedded in it.
This was followed by a question answer round where the judges asked a lot of questions pertaining to the movie characters, strengths and weakness of the main characters and attitude towards life .
Students learnt the importance to stay positive, not to let ones dreams die .The road to happiness is full of setbacks and despite of all the setbacks we should never give up.
Prof Manjit Singh Chhabra, Director, GGNIMT addressed the students and intended to guide the students about the importance of hard work , faith and courage. . He said the students must be taught to face challenges in life and should be able to choose between hopelessness and faith. He further added that having a dream is necessary, and one must try his level best to achieve it.
Prof. Parvinder Singh, Head, Department of Business Management, GGNIMT and Prof. Ripudaman Kaur, Assistant Professor,GGNIMT were the panelists for the event. They judged the students on the basis of their understanding and the ability to put forward their views on the basis of the question-answer round
Hardik(BBA3rd sem.) , Ria (BBA 1st sem.), Raja Madhu Sudan (BBA3rd Sem.) and Shiana (MBA 1st sem.) were declared the four most active students of the event.
Principal Dr. Harpreet Singh congratulated the club co-ordinator Ms.Shallu Sood and Ms. Neha Erry for organising the event in such an innovative manner.
