Fashion Design Department of Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology, Civil Lines organised an expert talk by Fashion Entrepreneur Rabnoor K Sethi in association with Young Business Leaders Forum and CICU for Students of B. Sc FD.
YBLF Chairperson Mandeep Singh assured of continued support to the students for skill development, industry exposure and placements. Also present during the session were Gagandeep Singh, Harpreet Singh and Deepjyot Singh, executive members of YBLF.
Rabnoor Sethi interacted with the students and talked about opportunities in the fashion world. She gave insights on Fashion Design Process, creating a Fashion Collection, Fashion Sketching Illustration Techniques, Fashion Trends and Forecasting, Sustainable Fashion Design, Fashion Branding and Marketing, fashion Styling and Coordination, Portfolio Development, how to start and grow a successful fashion business, Exploring new and unique design methods to stand out in the fashion industry.
Rabnoor also shared her experiences and challenges as a designer and first generation fashion entrepreneur.
Dr. Parvinder Singh, Principal, GGNIMT hoped the association with YBLF would result in success for the students and a symbiotic relationship between the industry and the academics. He also congratulated the Head Prof. Gurleen Kaur and the faculty team of Prof. Maganpreet, Prof. Priya Arora and Prof. Rishita for motivating the students.
