Students of Investors Club of Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Technology(GGNIMT) and Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Vocational Studies (GGNIVS) attended the Investor education and awareness session ‘Amantran’ organised by UTI Mutual Fund in collaboration with Dainik Jagran.
30 students of B. Com Hons and BBA from GGNIMT and 20 students from GGNIVS attended this session. Students were accompanied by Dr. Damini Chhabra, Prof. Gurleen Kaur, Prof. Preeti Virdi and Prof. Harpreet Kaur faculty coordinators of Investors’ club at GGNIMT & GGNIVS.
The resource person for the session was Mr. Neeraj Kumar Verma. The key highlights of the session were Basics of Mutual funds, working of mutual funds, how to invest in mutual funds, which schemes to buy and benefits of investing in mutual funds.
Prof. Manjit Singh Chhabra, Director GGNIMT and GGNIVS appreciated the initiative of Investors Club towards enriching the learning experience of students.
