In a dynamic collaboration between the Entrepreneurship Club of Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Technology (GGNIMT), the Institute’s Innovation Cell (IIC), and the Young Business Leader Forum – CICU, a vibrant celebration of the National Entrepreneurship Day was orchestrated through an enlightening workshop titled ‘Unleashing Entrepreneurial Potential- A journey from Idea to Reality’.
Distinguished industry stalwarts, Mr. Neeraj Dhir, Founding Partner of A-start Clothing, and Mr. Pushpinder Singh, Founder of Brand Wizards, graced the occasion as resourceful guides, infusing the event with their wealth of experience and knowledge.
Prof. Manjit Singh Chhabra, Director of GGNIMT, extended a warm welcome to the esteemed guests and outlined the Institute’s profound commitment towards grooming students into creators of opportunities, rather than mere job seekers.
Mr. Neeraj Dhir kick-started the session, delving into his own entrepreneurial odyssey. He emphasized that entrepreneurship is not merely a profession but a way of life that demands stanch dedication, patience, and a persistent pursuit of excellence.
Later in the day, Mr. Pushpinder Singh took the stage, dissecting case studies of industry titans such as Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Meta, and Zomato. He underscored the essence of vision in business endeavors, emphasizing that the scale of an idea is secondary to the clarity of its vision.
Subsequently, students were given the opportunity to showcase their business concepts in teams. The mentors, drawing upon their wealth of expertise, guided the students in identifying challenges and performing comprehensive gap analyses, enabling them to refine their ideas into viable, market-ready entities.
