Students of Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT), Civil Lines, Ludhiana excelled at the IKG PTU Inter Zonal Youth Festival 2023-24 by bagging prizes in multiple events across literary, fine arts and music categories. GGNIMT Team of Baltej Singh, Rohan and Satjyot bagged the Gold Medal in Quiz. While Yuvraj Singh of BBA 4th Sem won the Silver Medal for Tabla playing, Mehardeep of BBA 4 was placed second in elocution on the topic India: The Mother of Democracy. Banipreet of FD 2nd Sem was awarded the Bronze Medal for Rangoli. All the achievers were felicitated by the Mentors and fellow students as a tribute to their success.
Director Prof. Manjit Singh Chhabra congratulated the achievers and also advised them to keep raising the bar as only consistency, hard work and a positive attitude lead to excellence He also appreciated the efforts put in by the Faculty Mentors and also the Cultural Activities Coordinator Dr. Charanjeet Singh towards mentoring the students. While for the quiz team of Baltej, Rohan and Satyjyot this was the second shot at the university festival, for others this was their first opportunity to represent GGNIMT at the University level. The quiz team attributed their success to demarcation of topics and consistent preparation. For Mehardeep, Banipreet and Yuvraj, all three first timers, their achievement was a function of their self belief, regular mentoring by faculty and the competitive environment at GGNIMT.
