Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT) and Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Vocational Studies (GGNIVS), Ludhiana, jointly observed the Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji along with the Parkash Utsav of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji at the campus Gurdwara Sahib.

The programme began with Paath of Sri Japji Sahib and Jap Sahib, followed by Shabad Kirtan, creating a spiritually enriching atmosphere. Faculty members, staff, and students participated with reverence.

Dr. S. P. Singh, President, Gujranwala Khalsa Educational Council (GKEC) and former Vice-Chancellor, Guru Nanak Dev University, highlighted the teachings of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and stressed values of courage, sacrifice, and selfless service.
S. Harsharan Singh Narula, Honorary General Secretary, GKEC, appreciated the initiative, while Prof. Manjit Singh Chhabra, Director, GGNIMT & GGNIVS, emphasized the importance of observing Gurpurabs in educational institutions.
Dr. Harpreet Singh, Principal, GGNIMT, spoke on the universal values of equality and compassion enshrined in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

A Turban Tying Competition was also organized. From GGNIVS, Luvpreet Singh (BA 6) won First Prize, Arshdeep Singh (BA 2) Second, and Jaspreet Singh (BCA 2) Third. From GGNIMT, Harkaran Singh (BCA 6) secured First Prize, Gurjot Singh (BCA 6) Second, and Karanvir Singh (B.Com H 4) Third. Karamjeet Singh and Varinderjit Singh received consolation prizes.

The programme concluded with Ardas and Guru ka Langar.
