GGNIMT Concludes week long Online Soft Sills Workshop
Persona- The Personality Development Club of Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT), Civil Lines concluded its week long online international level workshop on Soft Skills- A Mantra to Success.
419 participants, including students, professionals, research scholars and homemakers from different countries successfully completed the certificate course with great whim and vigor. Dr. Ramandeep Kaur, Prof. Priya Arora and Prof. Ramandeep Kaur were the resource persons for the workshop. They dwelled in detail on topics such as Positive Attitude, Assertiveness, Body Language, Teamwork, Stress Management & Resume Writing.
Raghav, a participant of the workshop said that though we can get access to any information on the click of a button today, but from where to access and how much to access is a problem on internet. He added that the workshop helped him to get useful content in most easy to understand way to hone his skills.
Shivani, a participant from Canada said that the workshop was a perfect blend of quality content and excellent presentation by the mentors and was a great learning experience.
Dr. S. P Singh, President, Gujranwala Khalsa Educational Council congratulated the Institute for taking this brilliant initiative of keeping the people constructively engaged with this very important topic on soft skills during the lockdown period. He appreciated the participants for their committed participation and timely assignment submissions.
S. Arvinder Singh, General Secretary, GKEC said that the workshop intended to facilitate better understanding of the key soft skills as they are immensely valuable, especially for one’s career progression.
Prof. Manjit Singh Chhabra, Director, GGNIMT appreciated the efforts put in by the resource persons and congratulated the participants for their attentive and enthusiastic participation. He expressed pride and delight in sharing that GGNIMT’s regular online workshops and digital classes were reaching and benefiting numerous people all across the world.
Dr. Harpreet Singh, Principal, GGNIMT said that the Institute is making an earnest effort in helping people learn and use their time meaningfully. He said that it is the best time for people to identify their gaps and work on them.
